The IDS AVMS OnDemand Software as a Service Solution is an ever-evolving online application, which moves with the changes in legislation, technological advancements and intuitive intelligence making it a current, complete and robust identification system.

Identity Security has taken a collaborative approach with many airports across Australia to build this Aviation Visitor Management System, which is compliant and adaptable to airports of any size.

The key module of this system is IDS VIC Issuing Panel which is custom built to manage the VIC 28 day visit count in accordance with changes to the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005 effective 21^st November 2011.

IDS AVMS OnDemand software supports Magicard Re-writeable Printing Technology. We can supply you with a yellow VIC on a hard plastic card with your logo on it. This technology, which will enable you to re-write over a VIC that has been printed on up to 500 times, saves your staff labour time cutting out your VICs and at the same time creating a professional short term identification card.

This re-writeable technology is suitable for printing VICs, with or without photos, in black and white and the great thing about it is you don't even need to buy a ribbon!  Plus the cost per VIC is only 0.008c.

This printer also supports multi-colour printing for full colour identification cards, however these are not re-writeable. Colour ribbons can also be purchased for this purpose.

The re-writeable pre-printed cards are $4.40 each ex GST (minimum order 1000 cards)

Note: The cards will take approximately 3 weeks to arrive with your unique identifier located in the left corner of the card. There is also an option to pre-print on the back of the card.

IDS will support the configuration of your print files to adapt to these cards. 

As an additional service of our ASIC/MSIC software, the use of our backend processing could be a substantial reduction in cost and your time.

Ultimately, you still will have control of your applicants via our secondary photo ID checking process, however the handling of arduous backend tasks will be outsourced to our team.

Stand alone bundy time clocks vary in features from basic time recording to automatic time calculations. With time recorders from Seiko, Time Master and Amano,  we can provide you with a product to suit your requirements. We sell time cards to use with your time clocks as well as optional accessories such as sirens, bells, card racks, replacement ribbons and battery backup.

What is a VIC?The Visitor Identification Card (VIC) is for people who have not been background checked and require infrequent access to security controlled airports, to be under supervision by an ASIC sponsor and readily identifiable.

The VIC scheme is not an alternative for people who are regular visitors to an airport. Regular visitors must be encouraged to undergo background checks and obtain an ASIC to minimise opportunities for ineligible people to enter sensitive areas of airports.

How do I pre-register for a VIC?

If you are a company or individual and would like to pre-register for a VIC you can either do so using one of the following options:

1. Create a login via this idsecurity.com.au at the Create Login tool under the Client Login.

2. Go to vic-card.com.au and follow the instructions.
